Meet Dr. Elizabeth Pohlmann

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Elizabeth Pohlmann has always had a passion for serving others and making a positive impact in people’s lives. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University in College Station, and soon after found her calling in the field of dentistry. Driven by her desire to provide meaningful care, Dr. Pohlmann pursued a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston where she graduated among the top 10 in her class.

During her time in dental school, Dr. Pohlmann was honored with several prestigious awards, including the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain Outstanding Senior Award. She was also a recipient of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon scholarship, an accolade reserved for those demonstrating academic and clinical excellence.

Dr. Pohlmann is deeply committed to giving back to the community by actively participating in outreach initiatives such as Texas Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, the Christus Foundation for Healthcare, and the Morales Memorial Foundation. Through these programs she has helped bring quality dental care to underserved communities. Dr. Pohlmann’s philosophy centers around making every patient experience a positive one by focusing on personalized treatment plans, patient education, and gentle, sincere care. She continually enhances her expertise through ongoing professional development and continuing education courses.

When she’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Pohlmann enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors through hiking and running, cooking new recipes, and relaxing at the riverwalk.
